"the washington post" had a great chart today, showing just how not normal this is at least compared to our closest allies in the democratic world. compared to say, how it works in the uk which just had their big elections yesterday. in the uk this year they dissolved parliament on march 30th which is the first step toward having an election. candidates filed to run for office in the several days thereafter, and then the election was held yesterday, on may 7th a grand total of 38 days from the beginning of the election process to the end of the election process, and now it's over, 38 days. here in the u.s. it's more like 600 days. whose process do you think is better? in terms of what happened in those uk elections last night, it was sort of a political shock wave. you don't need 600 days to build up to a suspenseful end

abc's lindsey davis caught up with him there. >> reporter: this morning embattled comedian bill cosby trying to change the narrative, for the first time responding to questions about the barrage have of sexual assault allegations. are you prepared to backlash, if a young person comes up and says, you know, my mom says you have done some bad things, how will you answer them if they are pressing you, are you guilty? did you do it? are allegations true? >> i'm not sure that they will come like that. i think that many of them say well you are a hipocrit, you say one thing, you say the other. my point is, okay, listen to me carefully i'm telling you where the road is out. you want to go here or you want to be concerned about who is giving you the message. >> reporter: since november allegations re-surfaced with more than 30 women coming forward, some accusing cosby of drugging or sexually a assaulting him. his side has issued denials and cosby has never been criminally charged. in an effort to turn the page cosby is now part of the initiative invited by black belt community foundation to h
