amelia segal tracking this forecast. and folks want some relief. what do you think? >> well, unfortunately you won't get it. it is hot and humid through today, right on through tuesday. when you factor in the humidity it will feel like it's 95 degrees or even a little bit higher during these afternoon hours. right now, it is quiet across the area. stepping outside, feeling extremely summer like. i'm keeping an eye on showers and thunderstorms firing back in west virginia. these are going to continue to advance eastward. trying to hold together as they make it over the mountains and past the i-91 corridor and eventually they'll have success in setting off some scattered showers and thunderstorms later on today. here's the latest futurecast. as we get into the afternoon, especially the later afternoon, showers and thunderstorms start to fire. the best chance of storms though, david is looking like during the early evening hours when heavy rain is possible. i'll have more on this and more storms potentially tomorrow coming up in my full forecast. >> we'll stand by for t
