. >> reporter: natasha and erika the scene has cleared but search is active for this hit and run driver this crash happened right behind me here at that intersection, at boulevard, and front street, unfortunately, not much evidence was left at the scene but there are some businesses in the area, police hope to have some cameras and video. now accident investigators were here on the scene in feltonville early this morning. crash happened around 1:30 a.m. police say a a 25 year-old man was crossing at this intersection when he was hit but it is unclear if he was crossing with or against the signal as that is part of the investigation. medics took him to einstein hospital where he underwent surgery for a number of injuries including head trauma and broken bones. police say he is in critical condition but expected to survive. here on the scene not much was left beside rick tim shoes. police only have a very limited description of the striking vehicle. >> the vehicle that struck him is being described as a black or dark colored honda or acura, that was last seen traveling north on the boulev

"eyewitness news" reporter matt rivers has new information from mantua. >> reporter: a quiet block and a heavy police presence sunday afternoon in mantua as patrol cars made constant runs through a neighborhood peppered with recent violence. late saturday night a block party along the 4100 block of ogden was wrapping up when gun shots rang out: two men walked up to the party and one fired a shot gun spraying bird shot into the crowd. 10 people were shot including a 12-year-old boy and an 11-year-old boy and an 18 month old girl. all the victims are in stable condition. police say the suspect may have been involved in a fight on this block last week and was looking to retaliate. that possible motive is still preliminary for now. however, at police continue to work to identify the two suspects involved. >> i just seen the people running and getting in the cars and it's sad because children got

kate. >> thank you natasha. yeah, this is a large scale storm. as you can see as we take a look at satellite and radar together the center of this storm across ohio and you can see the warm front draped across our region. the cold front is still back here so we're in what's known as the warm sector of this storm. we have a little bit of everything are heavy rain, cool conditions and cloud cover to severe thunderstorms to the south. a few of these storms over portions of maryland, down through virginia have produced tornadoes or at least have been tornado warned in the past few hours. so we have to watch as these storms start to push into our region. here's a snapshot of what it looks like right now. heavy rain around philadelphia and the western suburbs. portions of montgomery county got over 3-inches of rain last night seeing another round of heavy rain and the rick for flooding tonight. these are the storms you want to watch pushing into portions of eastern maryland so if you're in southern delaware that's the area sussex county, rehoboth beach

. >> reporter: erika and natasha at scene is cleared and boulevard is back, and traffic is moving once again and here we are once again talking about yet another hit and run in philadelphia. we all know that the boulevard is a are dangerous road to drive. this accident actually happened at intersection near front street. one of the victims even left sitting in the crosswalk. a pair of shoes all that was left at the scene after a serious hit and run in the feltonville section of philadelphia wednesday morning. police say a 25 year old man was crossing here at front and the boulevard around 1:30 when he was hit multiple people reported the accident after the driver didn't stop. meantime medics transported the victim to einstein hospital where he underwent surgery forehead trauma and broken bones. police say he is critical but expected to survive. now accident investigators are trying to track down the driver. >> vehicle that struck him is described as a black or dark colored honda or acura last seen traveling north on the boulevard, from front street on the inner lanes. >> reporter: poli

. >> reporter: natasha and erika, good morning. it a has been more than eight hours since anyone saw this 17 year-old girl. there was a large police presence here in chestnut hill. this area is germantown avenue near crescent valley drive. there are a number of uniform police officers here, k-9 unit detectives, swat and crime scene unit. they have been here overnight. last time anyone saw this 17 year-old was at 8:00 p.m. so authorities are very concern. look at her picture 17 year-old sarah wills from upper dublin last seen wearing that maroon top you see in the picture with spaghetti straps, jean shorts and white sneakers. this is what police say happen last night. this is course of the events as we know them. police say her and her father were coming home from the concert last night around 8:00 in new jersey. they were coming home here through this area to upper dublin when they stopped by this wooded area. her father tells police that she didn't feel well, a had to relieve herself so she had to get out of the car. she left her
