scott broom has the highly unusual case today in rockville. >> reporter: that young man is 16-year-old marquiz turner and the public defender revealed he is a special ed student of "limited intelligence" and the victim of this alleged rape is a young woman who suffers from bipolar disorder and was on medication at the time. the alleged attack after a movie date in rockville june 12th happened against a wall on the sidewalk outside the circuit courthouse on maryland avenue. prosecutors say video of the incident proves it was a struggle, but during a preliminary hearing today public defender mary siegfried revealed more to the story, that the video also shows 16- year-old suspect marquiz turner being straddled and kissed by his 19-year-old date and the woman had textsed turner repeatedly -- texted turner repeatedly suggesting specific sex acts. siegfried said he was of limited intelligence and the 19- year-old suffered from a bipolar disorder. the medical examiner has not ruled the cause of death and in addition to the video turner wednesdayed to forcing the 19- year-old girl -- confesse
