>> we have mario draghi of the european central bank and more liquidity going to greece, and finance ministers with a bridge loan to greece. the drive the announcement was significant for two reasons. one is practical. it will help ordinary greeks. we have seen greek banks be closed for almost three weeks. based on these decisions, the greek government is expected to reopen banks on monday so there will still be capital controls. secondly, it was important because mario draghi making the announcement said he was making the decision based on an assumption that greece is now staying in the eurozone. that was a larger bit of reassurance certainly for the greek public as well. jane: but the wildcard is whether or not the greeks can deliver on the austerity and the reform that the rest of europe says they have to do in order to get this other bailout. given the past several years, do you think that is likely? >> you are absolutely right to remind us that this is a process that has gone on for five years now. the first bailout package was in 2010, the second in 2012, totaling $250 billion.

jeffrey: exactly, and the connection between that is how would mario draghi respond, what would be the spillover effect to the rest of europe? would there be an anticipation that mario draghi would have to ramp up for for the european economy to limit spillover effects? i think that is very unlikely, but that is what bond markets would be looking for. and then the u.s. impact and onto janet yellen -- first, the market impact, and if mario draghi is doing more and a bond yields are going lower, it puts pressure on u.s. interest rates. and that if there is an economic spillover effect, it gives janet yellen and the fed more reason to delay the long anticipated liftoff. if you added all of that to a possible strong jobs number tomorrow, our own economist is forecasting 320,000, way above consensus. that makes it, in his argument, harder for janet yellen to raise rates because the dollar strength would affect the economy negatively. think the dollar strength argument is harder to make now just because of how much dollar strength we have. we have priced in a lot of that differential of euro
