nick? nick: i agree, this started during the bush administration. we turned to the negotiations and then turned to sanctions. i sense that unity between the bush and obama administrations with obama strengthening the sanctions regime. then he got to negotiations over the last year and a half and these were extraordinarily difficult negotiations, if you think about it, charlie. on the one hand, we had to open up the first sustained conversation between the u.s. and iran in 35 years. we basically had no sustained vindication until the autumn of 2013. so you had that dynamic and the political sensitivity between tehran and washington. and then there were other individuals at the negotiating table, and that was russia and china, and they are not easy to deal with, as i know from many years ago. finally, he had to deal with this difficult political environment in washington and the climate of distrust of this administration by many republican leaders, so it was as if the president and secretary

nick: not imminently. the debate is about to get underway and it will go on for three and a half, maybe four hours and then we will have the vote. the vote will be about 3:00 a.m. greek time. alix: what is the mood there on the ground? you had greeks saying no to creditor reforms and now parliament is being asked to pass those creditor reforms. how do people feel? nick: it has been quite a turnaround from seeming to be on the verge of a deal with lenders to then seeming to be on the verge of a grexit, and now the deal seems to be back on. the people are getting whiplash looking from one way to the other trying to understand what the government is doing, what the lenders want and working things out in their own minds. i think the majority of people want a deal. they can see this one will be relatively painful but the prospect of leaving the euro is something i think scares people more. joe: what is the feeling of the fact that a week ago people voted no to the creditor offer and now tsipras has come back. -

nick: we think so. you look at the debt on greece 80% of it is in the public sector and 2012 we would be talking about the frenk banks one of with had a stake? one of the greek banks from back then and talking about ownership of greek bonds by european banks. it doesn't occur right now. so the connection is more through periphery bond market and for italian bond markets and spanish bond markets. and this morning both of those were yielding just below 2%. go back to 2012. spanish 10-year bonds were 7.5%. so i think the contagion mechanism i'm not saying it's not there at all. but i think it's much smaller than it was two or three years ago. given the recovery. anna: despite that logic though, which seems sound, nick, on days where investors worry very much about greece, we do see sometimes the car manufacturers and the banking stocks coming under pressure. because people make that link. to the periphery. nick: that's right. if you look particularly at the banks the italian and spanish banks and those ban

sal was the idea guy, and nick was in charge of sales. nick: the biggest tool we use is yellowpages.com. lemonis: that was a job that did not suit him. you pay him his commission on a monthly basis, right? nick: i just get a salary. lemonis: these guys were barely hanging on. their core business, embroidery and silk screening... that's really good. ...was still doing $2 million a year. so i made a deal for $660,000 for half the business, and the way we structured the deal was that we would pay down the landlord, we would take care of the other liabilities, so there was a method and a plan. this is a new day. let's go. let's go to work.
