here's a look at the current temperatures, 80 degrees in wilmington, 82 in philadelphia 83 in northeast philadelphia, 80 in millville, same thing in atlantic city. the feels-like temperature even at this early hour in the morning is close to 09 degrees from philadelphia stretching up to northeast philly. feeling like 87 in dover, 85 in atlantic city and we'll continue to see our wind direction moving up from the southwest. it's pulling in more moisture from the south of us. we'll eventually see the wind direction shifting out of the west. that will help us out with humidity but not today. temperatures feel like between 100 to 105 degrees for all the areas highlighted in either orange or pink. the pink is an excessive heat warning and the orange is a heat advisory. that basically means those areas will see dangerous heat. so really stay hydrated throughout today. try to stay inside. seek the air conditioning and the shade. make sure you're checking on your pets. our city planner shows us by 10:00 a.m., temperatures at 87 degrees. by time you head out for lunch, the actual temperature wil

even a few low 70s pottstown wilmington as well as millville. mid 70s right now dew point temperatures currently in the dover. so on that scale last week remember it was really pleasant in the 50s but already moving into that oppressive category and then you add in 90-degree or better temperatures by tomorrow and especially the middle part of the week it's going to feel very uncomfortable and even dangerous heat ahead. so isolated pop up storm otherwise it stays warm that humidity starts to build as we move toward the overnight as well. we're looking at 77 degrees by 10:00 o'clock tonight. so the jet stream it's going lift farther off into canada. that's going to open the door for all of the hazy, hot and hued my weather to move if from the south into our area and just take over the next self days. so as we take a look at future heat index by tomorrow morning at 6am it's going to feel like the low and mid 70's across the area for most but by 4:00 o'clock tomorrow afternoon we're looking at a feels like temperature in philadelphia of 94 degrees.

we're hanging on to the 80s philadelphia allentown wilmington. there could be pockets of the city that don't drop much below 80 degrees even overnight tonight. so what to expect for tomorrow? a couple of scattered showers perhaps in the morning. a lot of cloud cover out there. that may limb the temperature a bit so not quite as hot today but the humidity will actually be higher and then look at this line of storms that comes here in the afternoon. 4:00 p.m. storms off to the north and west. they come through the city between five and 6:00 to really slow down that evening commute. and then moving down the shore by about 8:00 o'clock before we clear thing out by this time tomorrow night but some of these could storms could pack a punch. they placed north and west suburbs in a marginal threat for severe weather meaning any storm could produce downpours gusty winds and frequent lightning. certainly areas south and east of there could see any of those threats as well. but the good news is we'll have dew points in the 70s tomorrow. in the mid to upper

wilmington 77. on the beaches temperatures pretty uniform around 74 degrees. and we did have early sunshine but the clouds are beginning to roll in and the clouds will continue to thicken this evening. what this means is temperatures will be pretty slow to drop. 7 o'clock still 80 degrees, 8 o'clock 78, 9 o'clock 76 and by 10 o'clock, 74. so a pretty nice evening out on the town. the problem for tomorrow is that the low pressure that will ride along the stalled frontal boundary, that low pressure right now over northern kentucky and what this will do is interact with an upper level feature so that will allow some of that moisture to be drawn up to the north so it will be cloudy, it is will be cool with temperatures only in the 70's with occasional showers. so, future tracker really timing out the showers showing around 9 o'clock most of the activity will be west of philadelphia. but that shower activity will traverse and move along the coast by 2 o'clock but the good news is for the fireworks, we will be drying things out. so, this is what to expect for the fo
