good evening to you i'm jessica dean. ukee washington is off tonight. there are heavy rains across the area right now, let's check with meteorologist kate bilo with the first look at the forecast, kate. >> we are in part one with the 1/2 pun watch this system. one area have rain lifting through. second line of storms is meeting with the first. but once this starts as it has across the area, already, it will not let up until overnight hours. we can see rain just starting to push into center city philadelphia heaviest has been by far off to the west all day long and that is where it is right now. you can see these mess owe scale features, little areas of rotation and in fact, you can see this bow hook structure. this very classic, a storm that larger comma shape but you you can see that in portions of the northern maryland and gusty wind possible and we are seeing those hook shapes in lancaster county. cannot rule out strong wind gust was these storms, but biggest threat by far will be heavy rain. you can see red are shading here now moving in berks count

let's get a check of your first alert traffic with jessica boyington. jessica? >> bill, we're out in new jersey. if you're heading out the door on the 42 freeway, this is what we're covering for you. at the atlantic city expressway, right in here, the northbound side. that's what's headed towards the philadelphia area. if you'reç heading towards 295 you have to make it to north jersey, pro problems at this time. if you are heading down the shore, headed southbound towards the atlantic city expressway, this is where it splits off towards the black horse pike towards the ac expressway. no problems there. heading out the door on the schuylkill, a great trip right through the conshohocken curve. as you can see, eastbound, westbound, 13 minutes at the most to get into the center city area from the blue route up towards the vine street expressway. as for mass transit, we want to check before you head out the door this morning. as we're starting to see delays. warminster, art and newark all having about ten-minute delays. >>> another sad day for the thin blue line in

jessica boyington has your first alert traffic. jessica? >> bill, we are watching a multivehicle accident scene here on 95. right around ridley park. so you can actually see on the northbound side right here road flares actually blocking off all the left-hand lanes and shoulders. only that aren't shoulder is getting by on the northbound side. you can see we have a fire engine on scene. police activity and several vehicles involved up in front of that road blockage right there. the southbound lanes are doing just feign. if you're headed to the philadelphia international airport, give yourself extra time. as rush hour begins and it's in the next 20 to 25 minutes where we start to see the volume increase. that's where you'll start to see the delay. the schuylkill expressway right through the conshohocken curve, that moved along nicely. the average speed still 60 miles per hour. we still have a 1 -minute drive time. things are moving. out in kensington, watch out for the water main break on huntington and tulip street. follow the local detours
