keith jones, nbc 10 news. >> all right, keith. >>> now to another sign of tight papal security. live over i-676. the road is open, but several exits have closed and will remain closed through the weekend. . 23rd street, ben franklin parkway. also the exit at broad street and the one at eighth street also closed tonight. the secured vehicle perimeter that's inside center city traffic box is officially in effect now to avoid getting towed you have to move your car into center city garages or out of the area. and several stations are now closed. this video comes to us from city hall where the broad street line closed about an hour ago. so did suburban station on the regional rail line. the fifth and 15th street stops on the market franklin line and the trolley stop. and there are even bigger security changes coming tomorrow and they will affect you even if you are on foot. nbc 10's lauren may has a closer look. >> let me take you through the day hour by hour and show you what to look out for. let's start at 6:00 a.m. 6:00 a.m. tomorrow is when the secure perimeter goes into place.

keith jones is here with a closer look at this map. keith? >> look at this. this bright red area here extends from the art museum all the way down to 20th street, which is where it meets the vine street expressway. take a closer look now. stretches for several blocks around the parkway too. bottom line here, if you don't have a ticket, you're not going to get anywhere near the state for the two big papal events on the parkway. tickets are free. they're being distributed by parishes in the archdiocese. some tickets are also going to leaders of other religions and a social services group. the parkway tickets are for the festival of families event on saturday september 26th, and the papal mass the following day, september 27th. the archdiocese just sent us this statement, it is important to be clear that the announcement of limited ticketing does not limit participation in these events in anyway, there's plenty of room for all who wish to attend. live look right now at the ben franklin parkway. we talked to two local churches who have tickets in hand. they told

nbc 10's keith jones just watched the new video released in the past hour. this is an interesting 3d view of areas where the pope will be. >> reporter: that's right. take a look at this. this is the screening area near city hall. you can see the bike rack fencing all along the sides of the roads. you see them down at this corner. they will be used in many of the screening areas all around town for crowd control. the front of the cathedral you just saw is where the pope will say mass saturday morning. the secret service emphasized here there will be a number of screening areas, some have between 10 to 14 of those magnetometers so visitors can get through quickly. look at the jumbotrons along the parkway. they will be on the side of the road. the thought process there is crowds can stand on the other side and easily see the pope on the many screens. >> there is no secret that during the papal procession, the pope will be coming down and using the outer lanes as he circles going all the way down to city hall and coming all the way back up to the art museum. >>
