one of those are the caltrans permits. caltrans is holding us to the highest standard of our work. we're working on that now. the other is coming to an agreement on that guaranteed maximum price and baseline schedule with the consultant. all evidence i've seen the contractor is very collaborative participant and is willing to do what it takes to get that agreement done. i think those are probably the major hurdles that we have in front of us. part of the delay of the start-up construction is working with that contractor to help try and minimize the impact. i have some hope we'll be able to shorten the field time even if we're starting later than we originally thought. your second question was, just about that construction duration and how challenging that's going to be. this is a complete street project. it has a lot of utility work now associated with it. we're trying to rip up the road only once and put it all together. doing that while keeping traffic throwing -- flowing on the road is part of what's taking that time out of there. there's minimum requirements for how many lanes

caltrans is busy this morning. they have lots of roadwork out there and we are going to start off at the bay bridge where caltrans has set up shop in the eastbound direction. so this is between san francisco and the island three lanes shut down until 6:00 this morning. this is all part of ongoing construction in the westbound direction. the roadwork is expected to be picked up that way in about 10 minutes or so but still traffic doing fine at the toll plaza. no delays heading through that construction zone. at the very dark san mateo bridge westbound traffic doing okay approaching the span, no delays as of yet close by for 880 rolling through the hayward area. the golden gate commute is very quiet. we'll call it "friday light" for the southbound drive leaving southern marin. now, 880 through oakland, you're in good shape just do keep in mind there is that same roadwork for 580 approaching fruitvale. it will be out there in the westbound direction until 6:00 this morning. peninsula commuting big shape no big delays

one of the reason it took a while to come back to you after going to review we needed caltrans approval and what is on the screen is the railing that will occur at every station platform. originally we had a vertical design for the railings and that was determined by caltrans to be a possibility of obstructing views of drivers as driving north, south on van ness and parallel to the railing so this design is one that we came up with and eventually approved by caltrans and it provides horizontal once so the drivers can see through it as they approach the intersection and the light and dark movement for the design of the railing. it is a very simple railing. the intent was to do something that is simple and elegant and this is a detail close up elevation and now we just have a pull back elevation of a typical platform so you see the panels as we go along the platform. a birds eye view indicates that currently the design is intending on using concrete pavers, precast concrete pavers that are 4 feet by 6 inches high and stacked on, and on each platform we also have a cast aluminum plaque tha
