kandi murphree toured c-h-i health creighton university medical center this morning, reunited-- for the first time-- with her care team. murphree spent two months at the clinic, and doesn't remember most of it. she lost her daughter, her home... and narly lost her life. now she's focusininon what she has. murphree can now run thrhr miles, and she has about a year and a half left of nursing school. "for them to see what they did, i wanted them to see that i recovered," murphree said. "they worked so hard for me. it's not that i'm proud of myself. i'm proud of you all." volunteers donated time and materials to rebuild for her in pilger. she is moved in now and said it's home. a lutheran church in pilger, nebraska, broke ground on a new building after a tornado tore the old building apart, in june of 2014. that tornado damaged much of pipier, including st. john's lutheran church. this is what was left when our cameras got a guided tour during the massive clean-up effort. church members have used a portable building for services since the twister hit. the new building's sanctuary will be ab

creighton university's economist ernie goss sees raising interest rates as a good thing. if the fed does move forward with its decision in december, it would be the first rate rise since 2006. meanwhile, u-s economic growth slowed in teh fourth quarter. the commerce department says the gross domestic product increased at a 1 point 5 percent annual rate after increasing nearly 4 percent in the second quarter. pick up this quarter. china is dropping its one child policy for the first time since the 1970s. this opens the door for ag exports as the population grows. now the country will allow two children for every couple. the communist party issued a statement, saying to promoate a balanced growth of population, china will continue to uphold the basic national policy of population control. this still needs to be approved
