the home invasion hate last night in philadelphia's king sussing neighborhood. three young children were inside the home. the robbers shot their father. he died at the hospital this morning. matt delucia has more. >> reporter: homicide investigators have picked up the case, trying to find these three teenagers they believe carried out this violent attack. the 1,100 block of south ruby street was taped off, the house where this family of five was living is a crime scene. philadelphia police say three boys about 17 years old walked through an unlocked door late last night tying up a 27-year-old woman and demanded money. she said she didn't have any and then heard gunshots. a 50-year-old man was shot three times in the head and later died. three young children, all five years old or younger, were inside the house at the time. about a mile away at 51st and locust a crash, police believe the overturned car here mafbl the get away vehicle. a bloody gun was found at the scene but no one was inside. one neighbor here who did not want to be identified heard the crash out
