mr. hamre: i one last question, smitten by land -- submitted by glenn. you spoke about tension in history issues in northeast asia, and he wrote about that. let me just ask a very specific things. do you envision there is a chance for a formal bilateral summit between you and prime and what role if any can the united states play to encourage closer ties to korea and japan?
