they look like they are the heaviest amount of rain in the central and southern parts of delaware, so there's a closer look at some of the amounts you can see anywhere between two to three inches is generally the rains. we have some areas that are seeing closer to five inches in the southern parts of delaware, so this is a closer look at bay vista. this helps us pin point your neighborhood, showing exactly how much rain has fallen. 2.23 inches in bay vista, we'll zoom up to cape may, close to an inch of rain since yesterday. half an inch in ocean view resort and right up the coast here, 82, .82 in sands point, inch and a half in bayville and so rainfall totals show us the big picture over the entire area, not just the shore and that shows anywhere from one to two inches near philadelphia, stretching up to the lehigh valley, the poconos. bullseye has been to the south of philadelphia, this is going to be closer to the central and southern parts of delaware. that's where we've seen the most rain falling and we're going to see more rain into the rest of tonight and that's include in our

look at those numbers in delaware, southern delaware, could be more than four inches of rain coming ahead of hurricane joaquin. that's without joaquin. joaquin is a 120-mile-an-hour storm, a category 3 and expected to take a turn over the next few days to the north as a category 4 and weaken early saturday morning with 125 mile an hour weakening as it heads to the forth. early sunday morning, days away anywhere from the clones to the virginia coastline and our area early next week. that's tuesday early in the morning. they'll be keeping a close eye on that storm as it continues to make more changes, more moves potentially up the coast. for today, scattered light showers, gusty winds this afternoon and 60s. tomorrow with that wind and rain and 54 degrees. the heavier rains due in later in the day. the potential for more rain and wind for saturday and sunday. those temperatures will be cooler tomorrow. they will rebound a bit over the weekend in spite of the wind and rain and there is that chance that we will see some showers and some more gusty winds, potentially from joaquin coming up the

, especially central and southern parts of delaware, that's where we've seen the heaviest amounts of rain. so for most of the area, philadelphia, the suburbs heading up to the lehigh valley and the poconos, right around an inch of rain, maybe over that, pushing closer to two inches in some locations, but for the philadelphia area anywhere between one to two inches of rainfall has fallen to the north of chester, closer to an inch and a half. if i zoom down into the central portions of delaware, that's where we start to see the impressive totals, outside of milford close to six inches, if i slide down further south here and towards the shore, four to five inches of rainfall has fallen. also more concerns for the coast and the shore, coastal flood advisory and warnings staying in effect at least through sunday at 6:00 p.m. what we expect to see as we go into the rest of tonight where we are expecting another round of heavy rain, especially closer to midnight, in addition to that we're going to see wind gusts up to about 55 miles per hour, our wave heights anywhere from six to ten feet a

sunday, that's when the southern parts of delaware, stretching all the way up the coast, and the shore from cape may, into toms river. the concern is mainly going to be beach erosion, street flooding, back bay flooding, and it will reach its peak during high tide, which will occur at 1:00 a.m., and then once again at 2:00 p.m., rehoboth beach, cape may. it's caused by the strong onshore flow and high tide. the onshore flow is not giving the tide a chance to recede. we've seen the wind gusts nonstop over the past 24 to 36 hours. right now we're seeing wind gusts up to 36 miles per hour, 35 in georgetown and dover gusting up to 36. in philadelphia, close to 30 miles per hour. our future wind map shows us that even as we go into the rest of tonight heading into tomorrow, we're still dealing with these really strong wind speeds. and the direction doesn't shift. as we head into 8:00 p.m., you'll notice the wind speeds are gusting up to about 30 miles per hour. we'll slowly start to see the wind speeds subsiding sunday night into monday. rain is going to continue to taper as we head into the
