but you can hear it outside if you're in boulder city right now. how about this afternoon, and this morning, low clouds, morning fog, gobbled up the top of the stratosphere tower. it's a sight we see once or twice a year. and at times the strip was obscured. this camera is on top of mandalay bay, looking down from the clouds. it has been an active night. here is a view from our camera in the southeast part of the valley. you see some of the showers and low clouds hovering over the strip and that was just within the last couple hours that the rain continued to fall. red rock was tough to see the rocks for a while today, clouds lowering to the red rock loop. that is the basic definition of fog, it a cloud on the ground. then up on the mound dane, watch how the plows are shoveling off the snow there, stacking up three or four feet at a time. in pahrump the rain was rather significant, about mid to late afternoon, producing a wet parking lot and a lot of puddles. we'll begin in boulder city, they're getting the heaviest rain right now, no surprise, 100
