death of little boy found in camden county nearly three months ago. good evening, i'm knoll. >> i'm iain page. case has troubled investigators since october but tonight the boy's dad is under arrest. let's get right out to our chris o'connell in camden county tonight with the breaking details. chris? >> reporter: iain and lucy, an arrest tonight in the months old mystery that has really captivate the this camden county community. 22-year-old david dj creato has been arrested and charged in the first degree murder of his own three-year-old son. david cree yacht tow was taken into custody. fox 29 was there just about 90 minutes ago when he was taken to camden county jail. he didn't say anything to reporters as he was taken in to custody. his son little brandon cree yacht tow was reported missing from his haddon township home back on october 13th. police k9 units found his body near a wooded area near the cooper river three hours later. now, initial autopsy reports were inclusive and no signs of forced entry into that home when made this death even more

he's outside the camden county jail tonight. chris? >> reporter: iain, david dj creato remains here at the camden county jail tonight charged with the first degree murder of his three-year-old son. but just how little brendan creato died still remains a mystery tonight, but the arrest of his father giving relief to many in the haddon heights neighborhood. a single candle burns tonight at the make shift memorial along the banks of the cooper river. it's where three-year-old brendan creato was found on the morning of october 13th. three months after his son's death, david dj creato is charged with his son's murder. >> i just woke up and he wasn't in my apartment. i don't know if he wandered out or what happened. i don't know where he is. the door was locked. eagles he unlocked it and left. >> reporter: it was creato himself who called 911 to report his son's disappearance. police say there was no forced entry and the initial autopsy didn't reveal a cause of death. but a grand jury found enough evidence to arrest the 22-year-old. >> the c

camden county prosecutor's office had to go through a grand jury to get dj creato indicted. he was indicted but even prosecutor's office admits the the evidence is circumstantial little brendan creato was found dead partially submerged in the water at a park near his home in the morning, on october 13th. the his dad, dj creato walked into a camden county courthouse on tuesday and said nothing before taking his seat. >> the defendant also told police that brendan had never before left his apartment, by himself. he never once left his mother's house by himself. he never once left his grandparents house by himself. >> section chief christine shaw with the camden county prosecutor's office told the judge that dj creato began dating a 17 year-old over the summer who didn't like brendan. shaw say the two exchanged thousands of text messages and at multiple times she said the 17 year-old asked dj to be alone when she came to visit. shaw pointed out to dj told investigators he went to bed october 12th at 10:00 o'clock but was contacting his girlfriend just after 1:30 a few hours bef
