chuck? >> all right. thanks, melissa. team coverage of all the winter weather problems continues now. the blizzard watch is posted through the afternoon into saturday. heavy snow and wind. i showed you this just a second ago. i told you i'd detail out where the winners and losers are depending where you like snow. first snow likely at 4:00 or 5:00 tomorrow at the metro. earlier than that across central virginia. by 11:00 tomorrow night, a solid 3 to 6 inches of snow likely in the metro friday night. by the time you wake up saturday morning, a solid foot or more of snow across the metro except for southernmost maryland. that's going to be the issue. how much the rain/snow line irks toward metro. as much as 25 or 26 inches out across parts of the shenandoah and blue ridge. here's our forecast. most of the metro, and the real issue is a solid 18 to 24 inches. there could be blowing and drifting. could have 3 to 5 feet before all is said and done. highways and roadways are likely to be closed. it's going to be a long lasting
