now let's get a check of the roads with jen lewis. good morning, hampton now to a big federal court case out of norfolk, involving a local political leader facing some very serious charges. norfolk city treasurer and former vice mayor anthony burfoot is heading back to court be arraigned on public corruption charges. federal prosecutors say burfoot received almost half-a-million dollars in cash, meals, travel and other gifts, in exchange for votes in the city. rico bush is live at the norfolk federal courthouse this morning with more on the man at the center of the federal court case. second appearence in court today - he is facing eight felony counts, including conspiracy to commit wire fraud and perjury charges. according to a 30-page indictment released two weeks ago, federal prosecutors alledge the norfolk city treasurer was part of a scheme to defraud the city. it says dating back to 2-thousand-5, burfoot used his political office for personal gain when he on city council, while also helping private companies at the same time. pr
