maybe on down to san jose. here's the thing as we head through the morning hours, we'll likely undergo a little bit of a break that's because the storm is expected to stall off shore. you can see here by 3:00, still a lot of moisture here and then eventually by the evening hours we'll see kind of a second wave of wet weather coming up with the storm system through 9:00 that likely will rilinger into monday morning, as well. all in all, saturday stays dry as we head throughout sunday, scattered rain that will continue into monday's forecast. so, as we get a look at the weekend, we will see tet temperatures remaining in the 50s and few lingering showers on monday, as well. i want to round it out and spend a little bit of time on whauts rg co coming our way next week. once we get over the scattered rain on sunday a stronger storm by next tuesday. we're talking about the potential of one inch with that storm and maybe another half inch by next wednesday. so, with these three different storm systems coming our way,

it's building a new campus in san jose. the company just got the green light to construct a massive complex in the city's north side near mineta international airport. kpix 5's kiet do is in san jose at the lot that's getting the apple touch. >>> reporter: the scale of this project just makes you go, wow! in this empty lot, imagine up to 20,000 employees working on a campus with more than 4 million square feet. the city of san jose says apple is in a league of its own. now, the city council voted unanimously last night to approve apple's plans to move into an 86-acre lot near highway 101 and 87 along first street and component drive. if you have ever been by here you know an empty lot of this size in a prime location is rare in sillicon valley. as part of the agreement, apple can grow and develop the site for the next 15 years. and if it actually hits that number of 4.15 million square feet it will make this campus bigger than its current headquarters in cupertino. as part of the deal, apple will pay millions of dollars in

we are live in san jose. it will definitely be a happy new year for a lot of people who will be getting slightly bigger paychecks. starting today minimum wages bump up for every major city in the bay area and that includes san jose. now, this is all part of a slow phasing in of a minimum wage law that was passed years ago. starting today, san jose's minimum wage goes up to $10.30 an hour. oakland creeps up to $12.55 an hour. and san francisco is at $12.25 and they will be at $15 an hour by 2018. a new privacy law kicks in today that's the strongest in the nation requiring police to get a warrant before searching your electronic communications this includes computers, smartphones, emails, text messages, digital documents and location information. there are details in the law to make sure law enforcement can still do their job efficiently and effectively. starting today, female employees will have more tools to challenge pay gaps between men and women. under the new law, the burden of proof is now on the employ
