tim: folks in le mars are gearing up to take the streets in their snowmobiles? the city recently updated an ordinance allowing residents to drive off road vehicles on city roads. abc 9's bria bell was in le mars today and has more. "sound of snow mobile" the city of lemars recently updated ordinance number 9- 29, which deals with all-terrain vehicles and snowmobiles. allowing the vehicles to be driven on city streets. "what this new ordinance does is combine them both. so where an atv can drive, a snow mobile can drive," said vacurah. vacurah says that if the community did not push for the might not have looked twice at the issue. he assumes that the push stems from the vehicles being a hot item for consumers.
