i have been told by a source close to the investigation that deonte carraway, the 22-year- old accused of abusing 12 students at the elementary school in prince george's county had a juvenile record, a juvenile record of ch abuse that he was found guilty, they call it something given in juvenile court, but that he was found guilty of abusing a child at age 13. now, the big question is whether that should have appeared in a criminal background check conducted by the prince george's county schools when he was hired a couple of years ago as a teacher's aide. a paid teacher's aide. he was working just as a volunteer last year before he was a paid teacher's aide. they should have done a criminal back undercheck. the schools insist that that juvenile record would not have come up, that it would only have come up after he had been charged as an adult. but there is some dispute about that, a sworn law enforcement officer would have had access to deonte carraway's juvenile record. this allegation, this conviction, at age 3, of sex abuse. so a lot of questions now about why this guy was ever wor
