we have been talking about the el nio influence and that has a lot to do with it and why we have seen more rotation and tornado warnings. so a busy day. gone down significantly but we have seen some damage. and either 8 was able to overhead from charlotte county. remember this is just south of sarasota. see that. we were watching strong rotation on the radar. and the national weather service is on their way right now and they'll be surveying the damage to determine what category tornado this was and confirming that it was in fact a tornado. it moved through just a few hours ago. we were watching this line of storms since this morning. and you can see the damage there, already some tarps up. and thankfully with any roof damage, we are looking at dry conditions expected the next couple days. but we just really hate to see things like that. and if you are wondering why we are on the air, it's because we want to keep people safe because tornadoes can do a lot of damage very, very quickly. for the rest of the evening for u just a slim chance of a few showers in the southeastern areas still
