starting today, the iowa utilities board plans to hold hearings to decide whether to approve allowing the ibaka pipeline through iowa. avenue, where the hearings will take place. what is happening? alyx: they will be discussing all the things that have been brought up, all the decision-making that has been handed before the board, and it will be right here, starting today at 1:00, and going until 4:00. the next four days, they will be deliberating for three hours at a time, on to discuss the pipeline. it will cost about $3.8 billion and would carry about 575,000 barrels of crude oil from north dakota all the way down through iowa. today's deliberation will carry address issues, but no additional evidence will be taken, no witnesses will be called, no opportunity for public comment. but the board says in a news release they just gave that they are not promising a decision during these deliberations before will be made the final. you can also access the video if you can't come in and sit in. you can also go to a link on their website. we will be out here throughout the morning and will be back in
