two people shot after a late night party at a hotel in st. petersburg. it happened on the fourth floor of the holiday inn express. that is where we find mary mcguire. do the police have any leads on suspects this morning? >> good morning to you. no, they don't. detectives tell me they are interviewing witnesses trying to pin down a motive in this shooting. when i arrived on the scene outside of the hotel and they're still here but they're up on the fourth floor investigating. i haven't seen too many officers come in and out. the forensic teams are here so i'm sure they're doing ballistic tests to see how many shots were fired and who might have shot them. the detectives told me it happened before 1:00 this morning. a party going on on the fourth floor. and some sort of scuffle happened. two people were shot. the police are not sure if the victims were attending the party or guests at the hotel. >> there was a party that took place, a person was transported to bay front hospital and another -- it was a male subject. and another man left the party and went

developing out of st. petersburg...police are trying to figure out how an unregistered gun, got into the hands of a four year old. that child fired a shot. police say the boy had been playing outside a home on yale street south on sunday when he chased a cat under the house. the boy found a gun hidden in a crawl space. he took it onto the porch and fired one round into the ground. the boy's family says the gun does not belong to them. investigators believe someone may have tossed the gun under the home to hide it. right now.. police in bradenton are looking for the people responsible for shooting two wild animals. we want to warn you, the images might be hard to see. first, wildlife officials responded to a call about a duck swimming in the water with an arrow sticking out of it! then, a second call.. about a racoon also shot with an arrow. vets rushed to try to perform emergency surgery on the racoon, but it died before the operation. wildlife officials say anyone involved in the shooting, to reach out to
