stewart: a u.s. coast guard vessel capsized in rough seas this morning while responding to a boat that ran aground off the coast of new york. be called out to rescue the seven fisherman who were on the boat at the time. the coast guard members that fell off their boat were able to swim ashore. officials say an overnight storm may have been a factor in capsizing the vessel. the boat was reportedly hit by 10 to 12 foot waves. angela: the largest model ever made of the infamous passenger ship titanic made its debut in spain today. visitors to the exhibit are able to see inside the cabins, bridge, and boiler rooms of the doomed ship. the model measures just over 29 feet long, and eight feet tall. it' s made mostly of wood and plastic, and contains more than tiny lights. 3000 it will stay in spain for a few weeks before heading off on a world tour. stewart: i heard the a constructing a real titanic. would you get on it? angela: no. some spectacular new images tonight giving us a complete look at our solar

angela: stewart moore got a closer look at the changes that make this stadium safer. stewart: fans at daytona love exciting finishes, even when it involves big crashes at the finish line. and some of those crashes in recent history have gone right through the fence. at a race in daytona in 2013, two dozen fans were injured when a crash sent kyle larson' s car slamming into the fence and debris went everywhere. seven people were seriously injured. safety improvements were made. joie chitwood: in 2009, we rebuilt all fences at our properties, daytona specifically. and a couple of years ago, we brought in two engineering firms to really look at our crossover, gates, cables to withstand all that happens on the race track. a wall without safer barrier last year, speedway officials made the place safer for drivers. joie chitwood: whenever we learn something to make us better, we make sure we do it. and from last year to this year, we' ve added safer barriers to all the inside turns, all of the outside walls. we really want to make sure we step up and make those changes, mak

stewart: i am stewart moore. as police look for the four people involved, the man who was shot, is speaking out. he spoke to wesh 2' s michelle meredith. michelle: a violent armed robbery at this convenience store in taft left one store employee feeling very grateful to be alive. >> he start shooting the door he shoot up there, he shoot down there. michelle: for abdul, february 7 started as just another night at work at the aman food market in taft. in the surveillance video, you see him walking out the store with buckets of water. >> and i stand up and there were a bunch of guys running into the store with a hoodie. michelle: four of them, and they meant business. the suspect with the white shirt over his head appears to be in charge. he points a gun at the clerk behind the counter. abdul, unaware of what was going on, walks back to the store and guy' s head, and he was asking money. michelle: then the chaos came to abdul. when he showed up, one suspect tried to pull him into store. >> he was pulling me in, and
