trish what's the latest? >> reporter: nydia we are told by police the two seven-year-old boys are battling critics injuries at temple university hospital. the rollover crash injured all people in the vehicle three critically. take a look at the mangled suv at the scene shortly after the crash. glass and debris covered the road on the boulevard near the broad street exit. just before 2:00 a.m. the driver of the vehicle lost control flipping the vehicle several times, that driver a man in his 50s was thrown from the vehicle. he is in critical condition at einstein. police say the 7-year-old would i was thrown from the vehicle and in critical conditionle. another 7-year-old boy was trapped inside the vehicle. he is in critical condition. a 4-year-old girl is in stable condition, three more adult passengers all suffered minor injuries. police did shut down the northbound lanes of boulevard while they investigated. all those lanes reopened at 7:00 a.m. police have not released what caused the crash our if -- or if

. >>> "action news" reporter, trish hartman is live at southwest detectives, trish what is the latest? >> reporter: nydia, gray the driver of the car is a 52-year-old man from cheltenham. he will be arraigned and charged with aggravated assault and alluding a police officer and other crimes after he fled from a traffic stop dragging the officer. this started at 2:00 a.m. near the intersection of 61st and lancaster in the city's overbrook section. the 19th district officer spotted the driver driving without headlights. this was a strong smell of alcohol coming from inside the car. when the officer told the driver to turn the car off, the suspect put it into gear and accelerated. the officer was knocked to the ground and dragged a short dance before the car got away. the silver vehicle was spotted on city avenue heading toward the schuylkill expressway. the man crashed into another car on the exit ramp on city avenue on to lincoln drive. at that point the man fled on foot. he was found in a school year near kelly drive and ridge avenue and arrested. >> reporter: the police officer was n
