here comes the rain. good afternoon, thanks for joining us for abc columbia news at 12:30. we're live from main and gervais. i'm eric weisfeld. rochelle dean has the day off. off and on rain so far. are we in for heavier stuff later on this afternoon? jonathan kennedy joins us now with a look at the conditions and very windy out there as well, jonathan. >> that's right. we've been tracking this line of storms over the last couple of days that has been moving across the u. we saw everything from tornadoes to blizzard conditions with this system yesterday. but as we move into today, mainly just looking at some rain and some windy conditions here at home. not seeing a lot of rain yet. but obviously, this is kind of a precursor of what's to come today and plenty of warmth for those storms to get going. 75 degrees in downtown columbia. 75 in orangeburg. almost everybody into the 70's. couple of spots due to some rain keeping them a little bit cooler at the moment. we are expecting a very warm and humid day today. winds sustain around 15 to 20 miles per hour. gusts upwards of 30
