it's where we find emma wright with the latest. emma, what do you know? >> reporter: well, durham police just took down that crime scene tape and cleared the scene about 20 minutes ago. we do know that they've been out here since 10:30 last night. almost seven hours on maplewood drive in durham. it looks like the shooting happened in the residential neighborhood. we saw a lot of police activity when we arrived on the scene at 5:00. again, they just pulled away about 20 minutes ago. we'll show you video of what the scene looks like earlier last night. durham police say two people were shot on maplewood drive. they got the call around 10:30. they say the two people were taken to the hospital where one person died. they say the other person does not have life-threatening injuries. right now, we're still waiting if they are looking for any suspects. durham police say they are asking anyone who saw any information to call crimestoppers. i did talk with them about an hour or so ago. they say this is still an active investigation, but they are not releasing any
