eyewitness news reporter carolina leid is outside police headquarters in mineola tonight. >> police say the security guard has worked at this school for two years now, that he has no prior arrests and there have not been any problems at this school in the past. detectives are telling parents, talk to your children. if anything comes up, do not hesitate to give them a call. >> reporter: 24-year-old daniel the school security guard is accused of videotaping a student in the bathroom at roosevelt high school tuesday morning. >> the defendant did go in to the bathroom. did follow the student in and he was able to videotape the student in the stall using the facility. after that he posted it on snapchat. >> reporter: snapchat is a social media app. photos are posted and in some cases quickly deleted, making it difficult to prosecute. but nassau police say the suspect in this case allegedly had the image still saved to his phone. >> the school was alerted of this through personnel at the school. once they found out, they called the police. detectives came. and they were able to view the snapc
