i'm joined now by msnbc news correspondent aymon. you're digging into possible links to terror cells. what can you tell us this morning? >> reporter: we're learning more about the identity of several individuals. they gave the details for the first time about the specifics of those involved in the attacks, including the two brothers, khalid and ibrahim ba back rouy. his brother khalid was the one responsible for blowing himself up at the metro station. they were not at the same location. there is an unidentified bomber still at the airport that has not been identified by the belgian police. they're trying to figure out who he is. the suspect in the white jacket remains at large. that is an individual believed to be known as najim lash wachr. all of these have links to links to saleh abdeslam in connection with the paris attacks. belgian authorities as well as the police have been carrying out a series of raids over the past few months. one of the key breakthroughs happened last thursday. it was there that they found the fingerprint o

let's get to msnbc political reporter bengie in cleveland, ohio. there at a location where a tru trump rally was held earlier today. how did that go? as you heard from trymaine most likely here, that things are different than they were yesterday. >> reporter: that's right, here especially i think more than other rallies today. it was relatively calm. the supporters who were waiting in line i talked to gave a number of reasons. some said chicago is different, h has an activist culture. some of it was the location. it's pretty empty, we're right by an airport in a parking lot whereas the rally in chicago was center of the city downtown by a college campus, it was easier for protesters to show up on foot. in general, the mood was subdued. there were flashes of anger. there was a moment when a trump supporter told a black lives matter protester to, quote, go back to africa. in general, people were mostly calmer. there were a lot of smiling faces. people i talked to, however, were very aware of the news out of chicago and were mostly upset with the prot

let's turn to msnbc's kasie hunt. she's traveling with the sanders campaign from gainesville, florida over to kissimmee on the florida turnpike. how are you doing? >> reporter: hey, kate, we are, as you say, en route from one rally to the next, in what's set to be a packed day for bernie sanders in florida, a little bit of a change in how his strategy operated to this point. this is a state that they don't expect to win. they had briefly been making sure he was exchange in places where they at least thought he had a chance to pull out a victory. being here, they say, is more about delegates, trying to make sure that the margin between him and hillary clinton is not terribly wide, so that she doesn't rack up a large additional delegate margin here. but heading into tuesday, they feel pretty good about states like ohio, illinois, missouri. it is going to be a real test for the clinton campaign as to whether or not what happened in michigan repeats itself in some of those midwestern states. but it still could be a pretty

i'm alex witt here at msnbc world headquarters. we begin this hour with breaking developments in brussels. belgian authorities today announced three arrests in connection with tuesday's bombings. one suspect only identified as faycal c. is charged with involvement in a terrorist group and other charges and the others are charged with terrorism crimes. brussels' airport will be closed at least until tuesday. 11 people died at two blasts at that airport. 20 died at a metro blast. more than 270 people were wounded. belgium's interior minister this afternoon appealed to residents not to rally tomorrow in support of the victims of tuesday's attacks. the rally's not been banned, but officials say police are stretched too thin and hope residents do not gather for safety's sake. >>> nbc's keir simmons is joining us now from brussels. and keir, with another welcome. what do we know about the identities of those arrested and charged today? >> reporter: well, we know a limited amount, and it's been pretty confusing, because a long statement f

it all started right here on msnbc. gop front-runner taking three different positions on the issue in the span of about three hours yesterday. during our exclusive town hall last night, trump ignited a firestorm over what he would do as president if abortions were made illegal. latest poll shows nearly 3 in 4 women have a negative view of him and it could help swing the pendulum toward ted cruz in tuesday's crucial primary in wisconsin. >> do you believe in punishment for abortions? yes or no, as a principle. >> the answer is that there has to be some form of punishment. >> for the women? >> yeah. some form. >> ten cents, ten years? >> i don't know. that i don't know. >> why? >> i don't know. >> you take isspositions on everything else. >> it's a complicated position. >> trump quickly tried to clarify those comments saying any punishment left up to the states and hours later he said it's the doctors who perform the procedure to be punished and not the women. the critics aren't buying it. painting him as a flip flopper.

msnbc's jacob soboroff is in lima, ohio, and jacob, you were at a taping earlier of an msnbc town hall with the governor. so what's his take on all of this? >> reporter: so we wrapped up just a short time ago at the lima pallet company, a 35-year-old manufacturing company here in lima, ohio. everyone is still out working. today i'm sort of breaking down what's going on. john kasich remained hopeful about everything that's going on. and in the face of what marco rubio said, we heard gabe gutierrez talk about it a little while ago, he's encouraging his supporters to vote for john kasich here in ohio. john kasich responded to a question from willie kboois by essentially saying, heck, no, i'm not going to let my voters vote for somebody else, if they want to vote for me down in florida. he also addressed this trump ad, talking about how it essentially blames during his time at lehman brothers lehman brothers for the financial crisis, the global financial crisis. and his response to willie geist was very specific. like blaming a lima car dealership for the collapse of general motors. anothe
