i knew that was a trigger. >> so again dory started looking for signs. >> i didn't see any. i thought, oh, maybe we are past -- maybe we're getting through this. >> but she was wrong. and this time it wasn't pills raven turned to but heroin. >> i truly don't think that she set out to harm her child. >> reporter: raven was kept alive on life support for months at lehigh valley hospital until doctors could deliver the baby by c section. >> the baby was supposed to be delivered june 12th. they deliver the baby june 9t june 9th. her body was starting to be distressed. she had developed a staff infection. they were worried that that would be passed to the baby. she had started spike a fever, possible pneumonia and so at that point they felt it was best to deliver the baby. >> reporter: this is the baby today eight months old and miracle baby but her tiny baby is forced to battle addiction. >> she was born addicted to the heroin because it had been so long the heroin was out of the her system she was addicted to the phenobarbital and the drugs they used to control her seizures whi
