jamaica is a junior and saw the photo, she saved it and took it to her blog to call out the thoughtless students, some of whom are athletes and peer leaders and the story has spread like wildfire. in her blog she wrote i'm not even jewish and i'm offended. this type of behavior makes me believe that these guys would play pin the noose on the "n" word. she's alone in this battle and not even one student has spoken up or stood beside her for blowing the whistle. an immediate comment was a racial slur towards ponder herself who is black. it has since been removed. the crazy part is they report that the comment came from an ip address from the school district, meaning it came from school grounds. i reached out to the school today to see if they are investigating that, they declined to comment at the current time. the district did issue a statement regarding the photo. superintendent of schools said this, i'm deeply upset that some of our students choose to engage in a drinking game with clearly anti-semitic overtones and to broadcast the behavior over social media. a lot of this decision in
