i'm meteorologist karen. we're checking radar this morning as we watch a low pressure system move through our area bringing with it rain as well as snow showers. so in philadelphia we're looking live at the art museum and conditions are dry but cold. mostly cloudy skies right now but check out radar. as this system is sort of pushing right on through the area, pushing up from the south and in from the west at the same time. winds are calm right now but the winds will be picking up as this continues to crank up and move through the area. you can see snow north and west of philadelphia. you can see the top of the system there. then rain further to the south moving through parts of south jersey and parts of central delaware right now. 40 degrees in philadelphia. look at the temperature spread as we head north. in the poconos. 38 in the northeast. warmer as we head closer to the shore line. we can expect rain and snow showers for a good portion of the day and then our winds are expected to increase later on. coul

good morning karen. we're live along the schuylkill expressway early on this wednesday where we had an accident involving a vehicle that ran into the wall here on the ramp from girard avenue to the eastbound lanes of 76. that crash is now long gone. and at this point no delays on the schuylkill in either direction coming off the schuylkill onto the vine, you can do that again. overnight construction is long gone as well. so, traffic moving in both directions, starting to tap the brakes on the westbound side but overall not too bad. construction crews will return here tonight at 11 o'clock and close the vine once again. had some overnight work along north broad street just north of the vine so watch out for a bumpy ride there. that's all part that of resurfacing project. same is true along the kelly drive where they start add three and a half mile stretch repaving project this week. had a crash early this morning in north coventry chester county but it just cleared out from chestnut hill road at cherry hi
