parts of new jersey saw hail. that was around 1:00 this morning, and this is a look at some hail that we got out of river edge. at first it looks like snow blanketing the deck, but really, take a look at it really close, and those are small pieces of hail. but lots of it. >> wow. >> great, and it's sort of confusing, you see these pictures of hail, and we have the same amount of snow covering other parts of the area to the north. and if you're in new jersey, and you see the pictures, most likely it is hail. areas up to the north, that's actually snow accumulations. could turn out to be the most snow we have seen there all season. some of the towns that were getting twitter messages in from newark, roselin, rye kroft. you see reports coming in. it's really helpful after a dark night of storms to find out where you're actually seeing those trees down, power lines down, and potential damage out there. that way everybody else can have a heads up. we see the radar, helpful for friends and neighbors. >> and snow in nass
