we' we' >> reporter: we're here in the 100 block ofrederick in gaithersburg. a teenager died as a result of this bicycle crash that happened out here about four hours ago. take a look here. we just found out that the teenager was riding his bike here on the sidewalk about 2:30 this afternoon. apparently, he crashed into a commercial sign and then fell into the roadway. t' killed. the bicyclist has been identified. his name was santo escobar. he was just 16 years old and lived very close by here in the city of gaithersburg. police have identified the driver who struck him as an 18-year-old from redding, pennsylvania. we're told that that driver was not hurt. police are still investigating the circumstances behind this crash. it happened right around 2:30 this afternoon. again, we're working to get additional details to see if the boy was perhaps riding home from school when this happened, but it appears to be a tragic, tragic accident here with a boy simply riding his bike on the sidewalk, hits a sign, and then ends up in the roadway getting struck and killed.

and temperatures 70 in gaithersburg and 69 in frederick and still 72 in fairfax. and then by early morning, temperatures go back in the low 60s and some 50s and 56 downtown and 59 in damascus and 50 in albany and 64 in buoy and by 9:00 a.m. temperatures rebounding and a nice start to the morning and lunchtime another great day to eat outside. 78 downtown and 77 in frederick and 79 in cumberland. warmer to the south west, culpepper may make mid-80s. we will make 81 downtown and 24 hours for now looking at temperatures in the 80s. 83 in manassas and maybe 85 in culpepper. a very nice day. so 60s to start and the day planner by 11:00 and 78 and mostly sunny skies by one p.m. next 7 days. nats in town through wednesday and another evening game tomorrow and 4: 05 start on wednesday. a couple of showers and should not be a huge deal. more storms on thursday and low 80s and more storms on friday. however, storms end friday afternoon. lucky to get them out before friday evening. sunday will be dry for now and warmer on wednesday with highs back in the upper 80s. >>> all r
