it's been a rough week for people in orlando. for the third time in less than a week, the area hit by tragedy. >> this time the scene is in the grand floridian resort and spa just outside disney world where a 2-year-old was dragged into a lagoon by an alligator. the boy and his family were on vacation visiting from their home in nebraska when they decided to attend movie night on the shore of that resort. tragedy overnight at disney world. a 2-year-old boy snatched by an alligator and dragged underwater at the upscale grand floridian resort and spa. >> well, there's a sandy beach area and the family was out just simply relaxing. the father was there nearby, and the child was playing in the water, just a foot or so into the water, and the alligator came up and attacked. >> he saw this happen? >> yes. >> reporter: a team of 50 officers are searching into the morning hours for the toddler who was on vacation with his family from nebraska. >> we're not leaving until we recover the child. >> reporter: authorities say the boy's parents

accused of giving gray a rough ride. three officers have now been tried without conviction. abc's senior national correspondent jim avila in baltimore with reaction now pouring in tonight. >> reporter: freddie gray is dying in the back of this police van. his neck snapped during his trek to jail. but today, in this baltimore courthouse, the officer behind the wheel was exonerated. not guilty of every charge. the coroner labeled it homicide, but the judge ruled today that caesar good sob's actions were not criminal. the reaction on the streets, more thoughtful and subdued today than last april, when parts of baltimore burned and the national guard had to be brought in. today, the only thing burning? the prosecution's case. goodson faced the most serious of the charges against six baltimore cops. complaints that freddie gray was given a so-call eed rough ride without a seat belt, leading to murder and manslaughter. charges leveled on the courthouse steps by the state's attorney during the middle of efforts to quell a riot. >> there was a rush to judgment by the government base
