that is a standard part of every single ntsb investigation. they ask everybody a series of questions as a baseline. they want to get a good understanding of the human factors so they can then from that point go on and try to get a better determination of what happened. but listen, here's the thing. coming into the station, the speed limit goes from 10 miles per hour down to 5 miles per hour, and by the time you're actually into the station, you should be crawling into the station. so whatever caused this train to suddenly, literally, jump the tracks at the end of this train track, literally up against the bumper guards, and then come barreling right into the train station itself, this train was clearly going way, way, way too fast. the question is, why? mechanical or human condition, i'll tell you, in the pars, rr almost always a combination of human issues that come together. these days, it's rarely a mechanical issue. it's more likely a human factor glrb the question is, when are we going to get answers? thank you so much for joining us. tom
