i'm damian trujillo, nbc bay area news. >>> the bay area is drying out after the biggest drought of the season. most people are now drenched. let's start with meteorologist rob mayetta. that was a heavy rainfall that pelted the fire. is the rain over? >> we had rainfall totals, uvas canyon, almost a foot of rain. you can see berkeley and the tri-valley, 3 and a half inches plus rainfall. three inches of rain around ben loman. that is almost equal to 20% of the average for the year. a tremendous amount of rain in the santa cruz mountains. you can see the numbers in yellow showing you how many of the places in the bay area eclipse that total from a three-day span from friday to sunday. as you can see here, a few scattered showers conquered that around bay point, moving to the east in and around the north bay. a few isolated showers today. snow finally coming down in the sierras. the surf up to about 14 feet, so we still have that coastal flood advisory for high tide coming up at 12:44 in the afternoon. could see some localized flooding there on the coast. but coming up after today, a big
