hillsborough county, broward and miami-dade. it doesn't look like there's a big shift because there's not. in terms of real votes, it's enough right now to give trump the advantage in i pop up here to ohio and keep this red/blue thing in mind. you see how much r is here. that same part of the state four years ago, look at the difference you have now. try to pull this up here. . keep your eye on what's happening in northern ohio. this is trump making end roads in a part of the country he made central campaign. talk about manufacturing jobs, message. it seems to be working. this is trumable county here in the northeast. democrats are taking that county with 60% of the vote in every cycle i can remember. and right now, donald trump has the lead. maybe it's a point there, but i think it shows us something about his message and how it connected. so far tonight, we're e seeing that reflected. i want to show you michigan we're just starting to marinade a little bit on these numbers. 1.3 million et votes in so far in the state of michig

broward county turnout expected to be up from 2012. these are the early votes and there is always one county in any state a little low to count. >> bodes well for hillary clinton. >> the expectation is she's winning big and unless there is a dramatic change in the results she's going to get more votes there. and down to miami dade they are almost done here. but in a big populous county like this, 9% or 10% can make a difference. if you are looking at the map right now you are trying to think are there places on this map where donald trump can make up what's still to come? and he's ahead by a slight margin. there is every reason to expect hillary clinton will make up that margen and more down here. so then the question is where do you look for donald trump? let's go through. those are smaller rural counties. the question is how many can you get. are there enough votes to get? this someone at 100%. come through here, they are at 96%. up here, 97%. so after a while you start thinking, if most of these counties -- let's just keep picking t

there is still vote out in broward, especially. let me show you, though, this looks like the early vote that's in. we say only the early vote is in. the total vote for democrats, the problem is that the total vote in this county was about 750,000. so you can do the math. yeah, there is same-day vote out, but same-day vote isn't what it used to be. most of the vote is early vote. we don't know exactly what the turnout is going to be today. they could shatter what they saw in 2012 and squeeze even more out of it, but most of the vote is in there so hillary clinton clearly running at a clip like that, 69% or so give or take is going to make up a lot of ground. there is also, though, outstanding vote in republican areas. i think if i'm seeing this right, the biggest area of the state, the biggest republican area of the state where there's still outstanding vote is right here, marion county. so gains the democrats make in that same-day vote in broward will be offset partially by gains donald trump makes up here. there is still, i believ

we looked at broward county. it h states, and broward county delivered. donald trump's number actually went up a little bit because you had some rural panhandle counties that were delivering in a very big way for donald trump. he was washing out hillary clinton's gains in broward. we said okay, what about miami-dade, no. 100% in. what about palm beach county? no. it wasn't there. this was a replay of 2014. we've seen this story before except instead of clinton trump, it was crist versus scott, and this math lines up almost years ago. although the vote totals were significantly higher, the margin was very close, very much the same. in looking at the counties in which charlie crist needed help, they matched up exactly with what hillary clinton needed. she did not have the votes to get to where she needed to get, and with that, we called it at 10:06. then the associated press follows roughly an hour later confirming the call. florida goes brick red for donald trump, although it was very close. wi close to a strong advantage donald trump as you look at the ma

broward, about 755,000 votes were cast go broward county four years ago, a high-turnout election, 755, they've blown past that number. there are not a lot left i don't think. also palm beach county, 600,000 votes were cast. they've blown past that. miami dade county, an 875, you can see, they are well past that. there is big democratic turnout in these places and hillary clinton's getting the margins barack obama did, maybe even a little more, but there is enormous turnout in republican areas of this state as well. there also might be a little vote left in volusia county, the turnout is much higher. overall, statewide, turnout in florida, if you add these numbers together, you're over 9 million, sitting at 9.2, 9.3 million if you add them together. keep that in mind as i show you what the results were four years ago. you were sitting back when you add all the third party candidates together, about 8.5 million in florida, so that is considerably higher turnout. democratic organization, democratic turnout, those big counties, a big story tonight. republican turnout is too. >> maria ther
