ktvu fox news is live at the scene where the gas leak has finally been capped. are things getting back to normal. >> the leak was capped at 4:00 and the 4:00 roads are reopened. this started before 11:00 a.m. near park avenue and ray street. a third party contractor working on street lietsz for the city of san jose -- lice -- lights for the city of san jose hit a gas line. pg and e was able to cap the leak five hours after it began, since the gas went into the sewer system, they had to left manhole covers and check each house individually. >> before the fire department lows people in they are going door to door. that's our main priority. if people are concerned they should call 911 or pg and e. >> we understand that they have finished going door to door and the residence and business owners have been allowed to go back into their homes and businesses. they said people may want to continue to keep their windows open. no customers lost gas service but 13 people lost service while they were doing repairs. roads are now reopened and people back into their homes. >>>
