. >> sergio avila is live at a polling location to break down what the judge decided just hours ago. sergio? >> reporter: well, i can tell you that legal request was filed in connection with clark county's early voting that ended on friday. the trump campaign and trump himself saying that some polling locations stayed open far and beyond the time of 8:00, which would have been the closing time for those polls. what they wanted from a judge all of the voting records that took place from those four locations after this incident of staying opened late happened. a judge told the campaign and donald trump today that that is something that clark county already does. so their request was denied because, according to clark county, that already happens. we also heard a statement from officials within the county telling us today that, in fact, presidential elections for early voting, staying open late beyond the 8:00 p.m. hour, it's something that has happen. as far as what will happen here today. they say once the polls close at:00 p.m. an election official will get in line and be designated.

let's check with news 3's sergio avila live from the government center. this revolves around the stadium project we understand? >> reporter: that vote stadium project, sheriff joe lombardo went to the tourism committee asking for more money for more officers and they told them that would have to come from the state legislature. that was something that was passed during that special session where the stadium was approved. they directed the commission here to get that sales tax. it would be an increase of .10 percent. they would hire 315 new officers across the valley including at metro, henderson pd, north las vegas, mesquite and boulder city. sheriff lombardo says he has never been comfortable with the number of officers in the resort corridor. he says this money will help make that area much safer. those officers will be focused on the strip area. we've been hearing a lot about sales tax increases that go to officers. ever since 2005. so i asked sheriff lombardo would this be his last push for sales tax to hire officers and >> it would be the last one re

and sergio avila is live to tell us about their claims. >> reporter: well, jim, this is the first of two of these type of cases related to bullying. in this first case, the allegations stem from incidents in august of 2011. bullied. one of the teens involved testified it was a dark time in his life. >> when was the first time in your life that you were suicidal? >> in the 6th grade. >> reporter: the plaintiff claims the school was notified. the boys were sexually harass and called derogatory, home phobic claims. one claimed to be stabbed with a pencil. >> was she conce experiencing? >> yes. >> reporter: he testified the alleged bully was talked to but never suspended. >> if you don't suspend a student who stabs another student in the groin with a pencil, what message is that sending? >> i can't answer that. >> reporter: the school district wants to prove its administrators acted adequately. they argue they were never made aware of accusations by the students. of any sort to any personnel? >> i don't think so. >> reporter: the vice principal also testified when one of the boy's mother
