sheldon: but he didn't get far. after his arrest, investigators spent hours combing through the van searching for clues. tonight we are waiting for information about who this driver is. joyce: thank you. we've learned inside the bag of money that was stolen was a dye pack with a gps in it. patrick, this is something we've heard before. patrick: the use of gps technology to catch thieves. it was the focus of a 12 news investigation a few months ago. in particular, people who steal from pharmacies. pharmacies are using gps technology to help track down people who hold them up. it works similar to finding a lost smartphone. a gps chip could be planted in allowing police to follow the tracking device. in the investigation, a law enforcement source told 12 news that criminals could expect to see gps trackers in more than pill bottles, and that appears to be what we saw happen today. kathy: thank you. more campaign visits as wisconsin becomes more of a 'must win' state. the trump and clinton campaigns hold dueling events

sheldon: a civilian who helped out that day also received the make it to tonight's ceremony. kathy: a milwaukee man dies while hunting in dodge county. the sheriff's office tells 12 news they discovered the 46-year-old man dead in a cabin in reeseville. the sheriff says officers are still investigating, but carbon monoxide poisoning may be to blame. the man's 69-year-old father was also in the cabin. he's was taken to a hospital. office to do a welfare check after the men didn't return home from a weekend hunting trip. a not guilty plea today from the man accused in a hit and run crash that killed a five-year-old milwaukee girl. sherman liddell appeared in court this morning. police say he hit rickyia langham as she walked to church with her mom on leon terrace earlier this month. if convicted, he faces more than 30 years in prison. joyce: west allis and west milwaukee police make a bust involving a stolen car, guns and drugs. spotted a suspicious vehicle around 76th and national. when they tried to pull the vehicle over, it took off. another nearby officer put down stop stic
