as president and ceo of the union station redevelopment corporation, a nonprofit steward of union station, i am proud of the unwavering support we have received from the historic community, the stakeholders we have to the station, the businesses and members of the public throughout this wonderful undertaking. i think it is truly a testament to this building and how valued this historic treasure is to each and everyone of us, and also to our region. we are excited to have a chance this evening to celebrate the great milestone with many of our friends and peers, and wish that many more could've joined us but we know that many forget to enjoy the station each and every day. in an effort to show the celebration, we are introducing two complementary exhibits that hopefully you have had a chance to see. one is the pictures we have collected showing the history of the main hall as well as our recent restoration efforts. this exhibit is a collection of images that have been curated by our archivists from various sources. they have been collecting things from literally all over the country, and th
