john campbell saw that bond on display in northern linn county on the day of the supermoon. two weeks ago we were up here. out to chase some pheasants with rudy and the boss...the boss being kevin hartwig of cedar rapids. we usually come out saturday and monday.... 2 to 3 hours is great for both of us.... rudy and kevin have been a team for a long time. as a matter of fact this is not rudy of our great outdoors reports... you came at 8 months old . he ten years, 6 months now. he just loves it. rudy was mighty raw the first time we saw him but he had the enthusiasm. energy and desire to please that you want in a field dog. now ten years later rudy knows the game inside out you would have thought we would see more today. so dry so them cackling in the morning. in two and half hours we saw several hens and deer but no roosters. there are still two months left. we will get out several time... wish we had a pup going with us this fall. it is getting towards the end with him. every time out if we get a bird or not it is still fun for him..... for tv9 sports, this is john campbell
