but, meantime, probably just some flurries frying around, chester county, at the moment. but, it is only 33 degrees in lancaster, and philadelphia, 34 in wilmington, below freezing in pottstown, allentown, mount pocono, again, why we are expecting a initial frozen precipitation before the change-over to rain. but this is why we watch temperature and precipitation, as we look at the future cast, there is the rain, there is the snow to the north. and you'll see that line of rain and snow move northward, through 7:00 through 8:00, 8:00 already up to 39 degrees in philadelphia. 28 degrees in mount pocono. the snow already starting to pile up a little bit there. so it looks like a messy commute of different forms. some rain, some snow, already at 45 degrees by 11:00. probably staying in the mid 40's, during the day. eventually, temperatures will get a lot colder overnight, and tomorrow it will be cold, it will be windy, it will be 39 degrees on friday. so this is the colds he is day we'll see in the seven day forecast, gets little bit better. but still chilly on new years eve.

and then we do see in chester county, as well. but the bulk of the rain is still actually sits off to the west of us. this is a big area of rain that's tracking in. in fact, there's this cold front set up so it's going to force that rain in over the next several hours and really even into your afternoon. and then behind it, much colder air moves in. as soon as it starts to move in our temperatures are going to start to slowly decline. as we move into the afternoon they're going to see a pretty big dip, especially overnight. we'll get to that in aye second. currently, if you're getting out this morning trying to squeeze in some last-minute shopping temperatures are great out there. way warmer than they should be. 58 in vorhees, audubon the same, lumberton at 57. i love reading these numbers off, florence at 57. hopewell township 55. we've got a lot of 50s, even some 60s on the map out there, especially in delaware and along shore points. wind forecast for today, winds are up right now, gusting in some areas around 25 miles per hour

investigators say they received a tip that the suspect's car was at an auto body shop in frazier, chester county. that is about 30 plus miles from the city of philadelphia. police believe that this was the car involved in the fatal hit-and-run of eight year old gianna powell, the little girl killed two weeks ago when she and her brother were walking home from school, and attempted to cross lansdowne avenue at 63rd street. this week we reported that a reward in this case had reached 45 grand with help from the mayor, f.o.p., and the child's family. the victim's family had a press conference earlier this week, and appeared on good day philadelphia yesterday asking the person responsible to turn his or herself in. we can imagine, with this news, they're feeling a sense of justice this morning. later today, we are expected to learn more about the suspect, and the pending charges, karen? >> reporter: jenny, thank you so much. we appreciate it. and we'll have more on the development on. that will also, philadelphia police are questioning a mother and her boyfriend in the death after two year ol
