daly city in san francisco, this area has had a lot of slow traffic. i would recommend if you are trying to get into san francisco, i would recommend that you need to come up on 380 and then get into san francisco that way. i wouldn't recommend using 280 northbound. you should be prepared to spend a lot of time in traffic if you are going to stay on the freeway. there are other ways to do it. if you're familiar with the area you can use other city streets. get on the freeway after ocean geneva. maybe get on at san jose avenue and head north that way. it will be a rough one there. that is not the only area that will be slow. we have a lot of slow traffic in the east bay as well. we are getting pretty crowded here now from richland to berkeley out to the brave bridge -- bay bridge toll plaza where there is also a pretty big crowd and it has been what. we also had a minor fender bender out there. you don't want to be that person driving too fast, hydroplaned and loses control so give yourself some extra time. >> from about the san mateo bridge to sfo, car

we'll find more 50s here, at least up towards daly city, but in down towards palo alto, still hang on to 63 as we head throughout tomorrow's forecast. in san francisco, 57 along the embacadero and 61 in the north bay. 62 in santa rosa, and 61 expected in napa. rainfall is still on track. we have started to see the timing speed up a little bit. so i want to take you to the futurecast next. and you'll see friday, 1:00 a.m., storm system off to the north. we do expect it to now start to bring some impacts by 7:00 a.m. on friday. that's the biggest change. again, moving the time line earlier out. so heavier rain likely at 7:00 a.m. in the north bay. then we start to see the push down widespread rain by 11:00 a.m., the way things look now. we'll hang on to some of the rainfall, at least more consistently through about 3:00 p.m. towards san jose. we still may have some lingering scattered rain until about 6:00 p.m. on friday. really, anyone traveling in the morning or early afternoon in our airports will have to watch out for these delays. rainfall totals, still looks best here for the high

daly city, 55. winds out of the northwest at 13. near the embacadero 44 degrees. and 55 in mill valley to 58 in sonoma. now let's push things ahead towards the big change, which is rainfall returning. by 2:00 p.m. on wednesday, we do expect a storm system to start to move closer with really accumulating widespread rainfall by 11:00 p.m. on wednesday. and here's the thing that we're looking at that's going to make this storm system so different. from 11:00 p.m. on wednesday, right through thursday morning, and then continuing not only into thursday morning, but possibly into thursday evening, we'll find rainfall that could be widespread and potentially nonstop. we may not really see it break up until friday morning's forecast. so that's how we're getting to this estimated rainfall total of 1 to 2 inches. i don't see any major river flooding with this wet weather as it moves in, but we'll have to watch out for isolated urban flooding on thursday and friday, which means any local street gutters, storm drains that haven't been cleared out, we could see some isolated f

and daly city, a cooler 59. and we'll continue with 50s through the ingleside, but just a little bit warmer here from the marina over toward the mission and low 60s. for the north bay, 65 in novato and napa at 67 degrees. with the sunny weather coming our way on saturday, a lot of stuff happening as we gear up towards christmas. maybe you haven't been out to san jose christmas in the park. it's going to be the perfect time tomorrow night. clear skies, jacket weather in place. temperatures in the 50s. and maybe it's not san jose, but you're heading up to san francisco. we have the macy's tree and also the ice rink, same drill here. you need the jacket, clear skies, temps expected in the low 50s, down to 52 by 9:00 p.m. on the extended forecast, a change to tell you about. dry weather is now expected into wednesday of next week. and then the chance of rain by next thursday and also friday. it looks like a better chance on friday's forecast with maybe about a quarter to half inch of wet weather. so i think this is

near the peninsula, winds breezy. 58 in daly city, 6 it for palo alto. san francisco, this will be one of our windier locations out of the south at 14. 58 in the marina and 56 in the embark dao. 61 expected in sonoma. now the storm system. again, looks like 10:30 on wednesday, we see moderate rainfall develop in the north bay. then we get into this widespread heavier coverage of rainfall by 10:30 on thursday. primarily for the north bay. but then pushing down to the east bay by 3:00 in the afternoon. and then down to the south bay by 5:30 with the heavier rainfall. once we hit about 10:00 and 11:00 in the evening, the storm begins to push to the south and that eventually will give us some dry weather. how about the rainfall totals? a lot of us in blue on this map. check out the key. that means a half inch to 1 1/2 inch on average. a few purple zones means anywhere from 1 1/2 to 2 inches, likely for the santa cruz mountains and north bay mountains, as well. so overall, i think everyone is locked in for about an inch at this point. we're watching river lev
