jessica boyington has that? >> we had earlier construction on the schuylkill expressway that's pretty much causing a backup all on the kecking roads to the schuylkill. same goes for the boulevard here. the southbound traffic moving towards the schuylkill expressway is pretty much stop-and-go. this is right around ridge avenue. we're also seeing pretty big delays on the schuylkill because of that. westbound doing a bit better right now because that reopened earlier this morning. now that we're leading into the beginning of the morning rush, the eastbound side back open, but drive times starting to drop but we're still heavy. 49 minutes eastbound from the blue route to the vine street expressway and average speeds into the teens. this is typically into the 20s, a 20-minute range or so, so that's how much of a delay that is. 20 minutes westbound from the vine expressway to the blue route, so that's only adding on a minutes. there is also a crash on old morris road and a crash in belmar, new jersey, on 295 southboun

but first, jessica boyington watching her first alert traffic. >> thanks. starting off with the schuylkill expressway still dealing with the construction. our camera as right around montgomery drive. but good news, we have some lanes open now in both directions. so earlier we had all lanes blocked off on the east and westbound side due to overhead sign repair. right here is the eastbound lanes. and you can see one lane getting by toward center city and that's slow. so, very slow through there. they had pretty much ysh pushed over to the shoulder. westbound, two lanes are now opened. watch, the shoulder's blocked there as well. either way, it's a slow go. and since earlier they did have both directions blocked off in both -- all lanes blocked off in both directions, there was a big backup. so, now some residual delays because of that as well. so, expect problems on the schuylkill expressway this morning. lastly, we'll check in with 95. construction should be clearing any minute now, southbound between academy road and cottman avenue where there is one lane g

jessica boyington starts us off at 473, a crash here in burlington. a tractor trailer actually involved in this crash, right around high street. in this general area here. we're seeing lane closures and blockages on the southbound side as well. reports saying that the southbound side isn't actually closed but lanes are getting by. alsoous in pilesgrove township. farther south in jersey, the turnpike on the southbound side, around the memorial bridge, you can see the delaware memorial bridge, to try and get there, you're not going to have any problems. no lane restrictions because of that. also checking in with the vine street expressway. look at the broad street closure. a little early, too. in the text ten minutes we can see most of that lifted up. westbound and eastbound, you can see some lanes moving. i would still suggest an alternate because some of the lanes aren't cleaned up. by the time you're getting out the door in the next few minutes you should be fine moving through the vine street expressway. i'll talk about more when i come back and dri

first, jessica boyington has your first alert traffic. >> thanks, bill. starting on the schuylkill expressway and our cameras around montgomery drive showing still delays because we have some overhead sign work right around montgomery drive. and it's affecting lanes in both directions. now, earlier we had all lanes closed for a small period of time, so that's creating some pretty big residual delays there. you're looking at the westbound side with two lanes getting by. we're losing the next two over and the shoulder as well, so that's a slow go. and into center city, just one lane is getting by past the crane that's over into the left-hand lanes. so, that's a slow go there as well. we're seeing delays moving into center city, at least past that point. also, more construction. this is over in new jersey. two separate areas of construction, but it's the same project. emergency construction on route 47 northbound at route 130. all lanes are closed right there right now and on 130 northbound. that same emergency construction but over the line over in brooklaw

jessica boyington with a check on the roads. big delays on the schuylkill expressway this morning because of construction set up around montgomery drive. now, just a few moments ago, all lanes were closed in both directions. now looks like they're letting another lane squeeze by, just one on the westbound side. the eastbound side right over here is the traffic that's moving towards center city, looks completely blocked off. you can see the traffic stuck behind it. this project wasn't supposed to be here like this all morning, so of course, we'll keep you updated as soon as they start to clean some of it up and open up lanes on the other side. for now, you'll need an alternate, because either way, if you are getting by, it's still going to be really slow, considering they had this side also closed off as well. so, take kelly drive as your alternate. the schuylkill's not a good choice right now. moving to new jersey, a few different pieces of emergency construction. one is in westville, route 47 northbound around route 130. all la
