i'm jim rosenfield. denise just arrived at the crash scene in millville, cumberland county, what is the latest. >> reporter: we got here in the past 25 minutes and that is the closest we could get to the scene. two miles north of the accident and it is shut down at route 49. we were over route 55 in millville, cumberland county, where you could see two heff illy damaged cars. new jersey state police confirm one of the troopers was involved in a deadly crash with another vehicle. now the mangled wreckage is located about two miles south of route 49 in millville and the crash happened around 7:30 in the northbound lanes. the road continues to be shut down as investigators continue to monitor what happened in this crash. and a woman did die in the other vehicle. now the trooper was flown to cooper medical center and is fighting for his life and listed in critical condition. the cause of the crash remains under investigation and it is unclear how long it will take before this road, route 55, reopens. live in
