"we negotiated through the night. the negotiations failed. we went in, took one of the kids when we had a chance. he grabbed the other kid and one of our officers felt he had a shot and took it. if you can't make it downtown, joe winters and i will host live coverage on kcrg 9-point-2. one man is showing off his latest catch after a fishing trip. he got a little bit more than he bargained for. riahn brewington caught a 112 pound catfish. he says he knew he had something big at the end of his line, but wasn't prepared for how big the fish truly was using a smaller fishing pole so he thought it would break. after a 30 minute battle against the beast with gills, he was finally able to get his hands on it. "he took all of the string out two times and i thought i was going to lose him. i didn't realize how big he was until i actually got my hands underneath him.
