shawnette, emotions just raw tonight. >> reporter: yeah, without a question, lucy. chief anthony good took the time to speak to me on the phone for a few moments tonight but his heart was simply too heavy to talk on camera. he is now asking everyone to spray for his department as they prepare to say goodbye again to another one of their bravest. a cloud of sadness hangs over the wilmington fire department for the third time in two months. tonight senior firefighter hope died of injuries she suffered battling a fire on september 24th that was ruled arson. she had been in the hospital ever since with burns over 70% of her body. >> it's an absolute shame. >> reporter: word of her death spread around the city residents like james cordell recalled the day the fire happened at this home on lake view road in cam bee park. two other firefighters died in the fire. firefighter brad speakman was hurt but has since been released from the hospital. >> considering how the way the community rallied around those firefighters. what they had lost to pro ticks and keep us safe. >> rep
